As Social Media Director, you will own the P&L of a 15 people team playing the role of lead agency for foreign premium beauty & fashion brands.
You are a well-rounded digital marketing professional with experience in digital strategy & execution of social media retainer, IMC, influencers programs & performance social ads.
Mission
As a key support to the China GM, you lead and develop the digital marketing unit, supporting client & business development. As a people leader, you lead & grow your team. As a project leader, you are accountable for the timely delivery, within budget, and to the highest quality, of the projects for the digital marketing department. Key clients include: Unilever Group, PUIG Group, Shiseido Group.

-Lead new business pitches
-Prepare innovative, strategic, and creative proposals
-Identify new business opportunities within existing clients to reach your P&L target
// Project Delivery
-Build strong rapport and trust with your clients and advise them on their (digital) marketing challenges
-Manage the delivery of retainer & campaign work
-Supervise the delivery of reports and other project documentation
-Manage the projects’ financials including scopes of work, quotations, invoices, and payments
// Team Management & Growth
-Manage your resources to balance workload
-Guide & develop a growing team of talents composed of account leads, creatives and strategy
-Propose department processes & structure for increased quality & efficiency
-Load balancing as needed

Your profile
-At least 8 years experience in a digital marketing agency
-Digital-native with solid digital, technology and China-social know-how
-Successfully delivered complex and integrated digital marketing campaigns
-Self-motivated and resourceful
-Strong team player and good interpersonal skills
-Strong leadership and team management abilities
Skills and Knowledge
-Chinese Native with excellent English
-In-depth knowledge of Chinese platforms, tools, context, consumers and how they can be developed in different scenarios
-In-depth understanding of brands’ digital marketing and social prospect, experienced in social business and strategy development, social media
-Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
-A process-driven thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
-Experience in luxury, beauty, and fashion industries is highly preferred
-At least 8 years experience in a digital marketing agency
