Role
MediaMonks Shanghai is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Full Stack Dev Lead to direct the development of digital products and platforms such as brand apps and dot-coms. In this lead role, you’ll help to build amazing work as well as our local development team. The gig involves regular client contact and builds on your ability to talk about technical matters in a clear-cut way (though you’re free to throw in some specialist terms, just to impress).
Responsibilities
- As a Full-stack Developer at MediaMonks, you help to develop the digital projects we produce on behalf of A-list brands such as LEGO, Red Bull and WWF with a focus on frontend development.
- You’ll be working closely together with our local Technical Director on big international projects, but will also see changes and updates for local projects we produce.
- Together with colleagues from other offices, you work across teams, time zones and technologies to deliver world-class work on a global scale..
- Your work covers a near-infinite range of projects that engage with all elements of HTML, CSS and JS as well as backend languages.

Technical Requirements
- You have an intimate understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 and know JavaScript like the back of your hand.
- You’ve got to know your way around various front-end libraries such as Knockout, RequireJS, GSAP, TypeScript, AngularJS， VueJS andReactJS — let us know what you know.
- Efficiency is key and LESS is more. The same is true for other stylesheet languages you may have mastered, such as Sass/SCSS.
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP, Python, NodeJs and .Net.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- You have experience with RESTful Services and all kinds of APIs, If you have experience with Graphql is a big plus.
- Proficiency of Symfony Framework is a huge plus.
- You have experience with integrating animations and responsive web development.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with content management systems such as AEM, Drupal,, SiteCore, Magento a plus
- A (basic) understanding of .NET.
- A (basic) understanding of Python and/or Node.js.
